During competition season, Nutcracker rehearsals, and everything in between, keeping up with your dancer’s shoes can feel like one more thing on an already busy list. Our sewing service gives dancers and families a helping hand - so shoes are ready when it’s time to dance.

A Little Help, One Stitch at a Time

Whether you need ribbons and elastic sewn onto a new pair, existing materials replaced, or loose stitching reinforced, we can help. We’ll review your dancer’s preferences and any teacher or studio requirements to personalize the placement.

Bring your own ribbons and elastic, or purchase materials from us. Options include stretch or satin ribbons and 1/2", 3/4", 1", or Covert elastic.

 

How It Works

1. Book online. Complete the sewing form and let us know when your shoes are needed.

2. Bring your dancer and their shoes. The dancer should attend drop-off for measurement and placement unless their measurements are already on file. Bring toe pads, usual pointe accessories, and any teacher instructions.

3. We’ll take care of the stitching. We’ll confirm the work, price, and completion date before sewing begins.

4. Get ready to dance. Pick up during business hours, choose return shipping, or arrange delivery to The Dance Center Carmel.

Standard turnaround is generally 1-2 business days, depending on drop-off time and seasonal demand.

Same-day or next-day rush service may be available for an additional fee.
