Get the most out of your pointe shoes.
Always store your pointe shoes in a mesh shoe bag. Do not put your mesh shoe bag inside any other bags. Allow them time to breathe.
Always store your pointe shoes in a dry space. If you live in a very humid climate, we recommended using a dehumidifier.
If you have consecutive days on pointe or are wearing your pointe shoes for more than 1.5 hours, be sure to switch between two pairs of pointe shoes to give them time to dry out so the glue may re-cure.
Make sure to remove all pointe accessories from the shoes so that the inside can breathe and dry properly.
Pointe shoes typically last between 15 to 19 hours of use (first pair usually lasts a little longer. Always order new shoes in advance to ensure you have replacements before your current pair reaches the end of its lifespan.
